The client required an area that would not only boost productivity but maximise the available space as well as the visual impact.
The £80k expansion programme involved the design and installation of a two storey mezzanine floor spanning 700 square metres, lighting, ceilings, floors, glazed partitioning and fire rated partitioning and external fire escapes all within a three week time period. The process was worked in phases ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
Prior to work commencing we liaised heavily with the local buildings authorities and the Leicestershire Fire Office to ensure all proposals were fully compliant. By taking complete control of all building regulations we are able to ease any concerns the client had.
The complicated procedure meant we worked extremely closely with the client in order to achieve the best possible results. With our skilled workforce we were able to develop a unique supporting column grid for the mezzanine floors which utilised clear span beams consequently removing any obstruction with ground floor operation.
The result was a layout which satisfied all the necessary criteria set by the company and our attention to detail and ability to problem solve meant we were able to deliver an exceptional standard of work.
