Step 1: Determine Your Business Relocation Requirements

During your first meeting, Bridge Interiors helps you establish your requirements by asking some of the following questions:

  • What is the purpose of the relocation, (i.e. is the company relocating or expanding into a new region? Do you have a requirement for more space?)
  • How much office space do you currently operate in?
  • Are the new premises larger, smaller?
  • What current storage do you have and do you require additional storage ideas?
  • Will the relocation include a new IT/telephone network installation?

While these questions are relevant, they form a small part of our initial assessment. After the first meeting Bridge Interiors carries out a free survey of the proposed new premises.

From here, the Bridge Interiors design team produces a concept drawing. This drawing incorporates many features, such as:

At this point the concept drawings are presented to you for approval or modification as needed.

Once the drawings have been approved, a written quotation that includes all of the project specifics is provided.

Step 2: Your Business Relocation is Assigned to a Project Manager

On instructions to proceed, Bridge Interiors allocates a dedicated project manager. All of the information is

entered into the project management software and a program of work is formulated.

The program of work details information such as:

  • Start date
  • Duration of works
  • Schedule of works
  • Completion date

Building Control

To process building control, with full planning approval we employ our approved inspector. By employing an inspector, the time line of planning is reduced dramatically. The inspector issues a report of compliance, notifies the local authority of works and consults with the fire service to achieve all control requirements. A minimum of two visits are made to inspect the progress of works. On completion of works approval, certification is issued.
